So my friend was on a placement at new look for a week,whilst she was there she was entitled to 50% off,Now new look isnt the best of shops in my eyes,But whilst down lakeside I got stopped in my tracks by a woollen navy duffel coat,Think Paddington bear esque lol
Navy is already my new black,well it has been for a while now,and I couldnt get over the fact that instead of the usual black plastic buttons they put on duffle coats,this one had wooden ones,The coat was amazing,It didnt even look like it belonged in the shop
So anyhoo,It was £70,my friend was like il get it for you for £30,Of course im going to say yes,who wouldnt???
So she reserved it for me on wednesday and said shed collect it friday
So heres were the horror begins,I get a call saying she couldnt find the coat,some IDIOT at new look decided to put it back on the shop floor,even though it was reserved for a staff member and had a date on it for collection,They didnt even tell her
My poor friend searched high and low for this coat,shop floor,stock room and werever else she had thought of,Do you think she could find it...No!
Now her placement is over,so no more 50%
The coat isnt even online anymore,Its sold out,This is just great......
The only upside to this is that I found a coat on asos that looks practically the same,The only difference between them is that the one from new look was more fitted at the back,heres the one from asos
I still like it obviously as its the same,but I cant feel how thick this is or try it on before I buy it,Not to mention its £70 so im right back were I started,grrrrrr
