Kate Bosworth Dazzles at the Gala


For the Costume Institute's Gala, a superhero themed event by the way, Kate shows off her "comic book collage" gone couture dress in true style.


I love Kate's look in this eye candy frock from Chanel. And to play off the super-hero theme the Jellies footware and smeared blue eyeshadow do the job nicely. Now, question - are those lips poppin' with a little filler or are Kate's lips always that "voluptuous", hmmmm?


Now, what didn't fly for me at all was poor Katie's crimson-masked makeup debauchery. Why?

Claire Dane's at the 2008 Costume Institute Gala



Ok, I don't know about you, but for me Claire Dane's runs hot and cold; generally, more cold. I think it probably has more to do with her taking on Billy Crudup as a boyfriend when girlfriend Mary Louise Parker was still pregnant than Claire herself. I just found that "tacky".

Having said that, you'll not be surprised that I'm finding this look a definite "NOT". Bellasugar describes her look as "flawless" ... I'm thinking we're looking at two totally different pics then.
