The fragrance is now available at Takashimaya in the USA and through Ineke's website online. Samples of the collection for current online customers will be available in October. With a collection of notes that promises to be nothing short of scrumptious, Field Notes from Paris is the very essence of the smells of fall.

Ohhhh ... you lucky frauen!

NPassion, of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has collaborated with Ineke to bring her gorgeous fragrances to the german-speaking world.

You may remember we discussed this fragrance house in mid-August with a review of Evening Edged in Gold; I'm still counting this luscious, beautiful scent as one of my faves - thank you, Ineke.

Ms. Nasife Koc, General Manager of NPassion, said "Being a modern, dynamic brand, Ineke attracted me with it’s creativity, it’s fine and fresh fragrances and it’s compelling approach to brand promotion and development.” Ineke’s line debuted with After My Own Heart, Balmy Days & Sundays, Chemical Bonding and Derring-Do for Men and recently introduced Evening Edged in Gold. The polished and sophisticated line with a distinctive personal signature is created by Ineke Rühland, a “nose” trained at ISIPCA in Versailles, France. In a market crowded with emerging brands, Ineke has reached cult status among perfume fans globally because of her approachable perfumes, top-quality custom-designed packaging and award-winning sampling approach. About Ineke - Ineke fragrances can be found at fine stores including Studio at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, Bergdorf Goodman and Takashimaya in New York and Liberty in London.

On read of the description for the fragrance, one might imagine it to be a bit intense and dark. It's not. Therein lies what I adore so much about it - its contradictory state of implicit heavy notes yet with a lightness of heart and almost ethereal quality. Top notes of gold osmanthus and plum blend with notes of angel's trumpet, saffron and cinnamon an a base of midnight candy (the intoxicating night flower), leather and woods.

Lovingly created by Ineke Ruhland, a classically trained perfumer blending new, original fragrances in her independent studio in San Francisco, has enjoyed an extensive background in perfumery in Europe. Originally from Canada, Ruhland moved to Europe in 1988. After working in the Netherlands, England and France, she found herself passionately drawn to the creative role of the professional nose. In 1996, she began her formal perfumery studies at ISIPCA in Versailles, France. She moved to San Francisco desiring to blend her perfume skills with her love of design, literature and the arts. She enjoys that her fragrances unfold through the telling of a story; every aspect of her production exudes this artistic discovery.

Evening Edged in Gold (E) is number five in her Alphabetical Collection of Perfumes. The predecessors are:
