Elle lists their new must-haves in beauty essentials! It's no surprise many of these gems are multi-taskers.  Why not get the most from your beauty?  Here's the scoop on the best and brightests stars on the horizon.

ANTIAGING MAKEUP
Invest in a tinted moisturizer or foundation with SPF (and be sure it's broad spectrum - UVA and UVB protection) to help combat age-revealing lines and wrinkles. A product with nourishing botanicals is a plus!

New Products to Try:
The powder in Sisley Paris Phyto-Poudre Compacte has camellia oil and plant extracts of mallow and linden; Chanel Vitalumière Moisture-Rich Radiance Fluid Makeup SPF 15 is reformulated with smoothing hydrators, marine extracts, and mineral-based pigments.

MULTITASKING LIP CARE
Expect more from your lipstick or gloss—besides imparting color, the perfect tube should also protect and moisturize.

New Products to Try:
With mango butter, antioxidants, and SPF 15, Nars Pure Sheer SPF Treatment keeps lips kissable; vitamin- and moisturizer-packed Pure Color Gloss by Estée Lauder unveils next month; Bobbi Brown Treatment Lip Shine SPF 15 replenishes moisture and collagen

SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE
Even if you go through fragrances like boyfriends, don’t ditch them all—keep one perfume that’s true to your personality and save for special occasions.

New Product to Try:
Next month, Philosophy debuts the fifth scent in its Grace collection, Philosophy Eternal Grace. I pre-ordered this for advanced shipment and cannot wait for it to be delivered. Will certainly post a review for you when it's here.

GO-TO NAIL POLISH
Choosing from a multitude of colors at the nail salon is a treat! Just be sure to have your own bottle of polish handy for those times you can’t make it to a pro.

New Products to Try:
Indulge your girly side with Lancôme Le Vernis in Ms. Perfectly Pink or go bold with Essie Nail Polish in Pretty Edgy, part of the company’s summer collection (available June 1).

EYE REJUVENATOR
The delicate skin around your eyes is the first facial area to show signs of aging. To keep eyes looking fresh, incorporate an antiaging serum or moisturizer into your daily skin care regimen.

New Products to Try:
VMV Hypoallergenics Re-Everything Eye Serum and RareMinerals Active Triple Treatment Eye Cream are each chock-full of depuffing and firming ingredients.

GLOW-GETTING COSMETICS
Grandma may have pinched her cheeks, but there’s an easier (and less painful) way to get an instant glow—whether you opt for liquid or powder, a blush-toned highlighter is a must.

New Product to Try:
Swirl a large brush in MAC Marine Life High-Light Powder, part of the brand’s To The Beach collection (now available), and bedazzle your cheekbones in seconds.

FACE MOISTURIZER
Keep skin supple by not skimping on moisturizer—even if your complexion is blemish-prone or oily, a light layer of lotion works wonders.

New Product to Try:
Estée Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Crème delivers hydration without clogging pores and comes in three different formulas (normal/combination skin, dry skin, and SPF 15).

LASHWORTHY MASCARA
A coat of mascara can wake up eyes instantly—no shadow or liner required. The key: Finding a lash-pumping formula that doesn’t leave hair brittle.

New Products to Try:
CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion is a buildable mascara that creates length and volume, minus troublesome clumps; Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Waterproof Mascara gently adds smudge-resistant curl and definition.

CREAMY BODY LOTION
Avoid scaly arms and legs with a moisturizer. Apply daily on shower-fresh skin for optimal results—lotion humectants will draw leftover water droplets into the dermis.

New Products to Try:
Almond milk and oil in L’Occitane Almond Milk Veil nourish, while almond protein firms; Fresh Citron de Vigne Body Lotion revitalizes the skin with vitamins and shea butter—and perks up the senses too (it smells like a vineyard).

NOURISHING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
Minimizing your use of hot tools and styling products can improve the health of your strands, but there’s no reason you should go it alone—a great shampoo and conditioner can be hair-savers.

New Products to Try:
L’Oréal Professionnel Source de Richesse shampoo and conditioning mask boost hair health with all-natural, eco-friendly ingredients.

Follow the adventures of Holly Millea of Elle magazine as she accidentally discovers the Amazonian Fruit of Youth in this excerpted peek from Elle.com.

Having missed my connecting flight, I arrived in the Brazilian state of Pará, at
its capital, Belém (Portuguese for “Bethlehem”), and found no one from the
Women’s Fashion Correctional Facility to meet me. I did, however, find Jesus, or
rather, he found me. Seeing my ELLE logo duffel bag, he introduced himself and
asked if I was one of the international beauty editors descending in search of
the Holy Grail of antioxidants—açaí. With a “yes,” I was saved and fell in with
a flock that included seekers from Brazilian Vogue, Australian Harper’s Bazaar,
and German Brigitte; a hunky Brazilian photographer; a guide named Ulisses; and
an all-girl trio from Kiehl’s, the landmark New York apothecary, who couldn’t
stop singing açaí’s praises. Pronounced ah-sigh-EE, the purple, protein-packed
berry grows deep in the rain forest and is the hottest exotic superfood to hit
the market since Himalayan goji, Tahitian noni, and Haribo gummi bears.

I’m on a riverboat gliding deep, deep, deeper into the rain forest to
the remote region of Igarapé Mirim. Here, a small group of people from the
Nazarezinho community harvest açaí for Beraca, an eco-friendly extract company
that supplies Kiehl’s with the ingredients for its new line, the Açaí
Damage-Repairing Skincare Collection. Stilted shacks with white satellite dishes
planted out front like lawn ornaments skirt the banks against a forest of açaí
palms. The trees soar 70 feet above, their prize fruit hanging atop the canopy
in heavy, weeping bunches. Açaí means “the fruit that cries,” and these berries
are bawlin’ to come down.

“Don’t these people look so healthy?” asks
Angelike Galdi, a Kiehl’s chemist, interrupting that last thought as she waves
goodbye to the Nazarezinho workers from our boat. “They don’t go to doctors.
We’d be slim and healthy too if all we ate was fish and açaí.” And climbed tall
trees, harvested heavy fruit, never met a vending machine, didn’t drink alcohol
(the still is for making açaí juice), and had no toxic jealousy pulsing through
our veins. Smooth-skinned and sinewy, the villagers appear ageless, probably
ignorant of exactly how old they are. They don’t dread birthdays; they celebrate
açaí harvests. Rain-forest babies start consuming the fiber-rich food at six
months. According to Kiehl’s research, 100 grams of dried açaí contains 10 grams
of protein and five times the antioxidant levels of blueberries. “It’s a
broad-spectrum antioxidant that protects skin from free radicals,” Galdi
explains. A free radical is an unstable molecule created by the
environment—external aggressors like sun and pollution. “Because they’re
unstable,” she says, “they’re constantly trying to stabilize, and in the process
they oxidize and eat away at the skin’s proteins and lipids, damaging the cells
and ultimately the cell DNA, which, in more serious forms, can cause mutations
that result in different types of skin cancers.”

I text nutritionist Oz
Garcia, PhD, and ask him to simplify the science. “The very thing that keeps us
alive—oxygen—is slowly killing us,” says the best-selling author, “life
extension specialist,” and Kiehl’s antiaging consultant. “We rust, wrinkle,
spot, wear down with age—we’re eventually going to oxidize to death.” Garcia
says the antioxidant chemicals that give dark fruits and vegetables their rich
colors protect them from aging, “and when we eat them, they’re in us,” delaying
the inevitable.

More research ... Holly concludes
the piece with a less than "oh my gosh" attitude toward acai. While it is
unquestionably a strong antioxidant, our dermatologist Dennis Gross, MD, warns
of “a mythological culture surrounding açaí. As far as the topical benefit to
the skin goes, it’s anecdotal, and that does not equal scientific testing.” It
might look like it’s working, but “it isn’t proven effective.”

Galdi
says that it’s “primarily preventive. Açaí does not get rid of wrinkles, but it
does free up the cells to work at 100 percent capacity for health to fight
future wrinkles and damage.” Instead of wearing themselves out now fighting
oxidation.

Want to learn more about why the Kiehl's gals are so in love with acai?
While many people assume Kiehl’s products are 100 percent organic, this line is the brand’s first organic skin care line, said Chris Salgardo, president of Kiehl’s USA. “Since our inception, we have always been known for our service and for creating efficacious products,” said Salgardo, noting that everyone asks for “green” products, but still demand high performance. “We heard that our customers wanted organics, that they wanted paraben-free, that they wanted natural — and they wanted to focus on the first signs of aging. We went to the lab to do all that. The result: our new Açaí line.”

Açaí was chosen, Salgardo said, because its “superior antioxidant properties” help combat environmental aggressors and stimulate the skin’s natural renewal process, yet the products are 100 percent natural. “Açaí is a powerful superberry, which means a fruit considered to have exceptionally high levels of nutrients, antioxidants and potential health benefits when compared to other foods,” he said. “It has high antioxidant levels to help reverse and prevent oxidizing free-radical damage to skin cells arising from environmental and lifestyle stress; it is among the highest in antioxidant capacity of any edible fruit and it is a broad-spectrum antioxidant, especially effective against superoxides and peroxyl free-radicals which produce oxidative damage on skin.”

In addition to açaí, the ingredient lineup includes organic lavender and rosemary essential oils, organic orange fruit water, denatured botanical alcohol and aloe vera juice, all intended to minimize fine lines and wrinkles and increase skin luminosity, said Salgardo.

Visit Kiehl's and search "acai" in their search bar. You'll find their Acai Collection products, all ECOCERT organic, all 100% natural origin ingredients, and surprisingly reasonably priced ($24 - $48).

Combining nature and science to benefit skin, new high-end skincare brand Luxtural is fast becoming a celebrity favorite. Among those purported to be fans - Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie, Mariska Hargitay, Jenny McCarthy, Lucy Liu, Simon Cowell, Debra Messing and Joy Bryant.

The three launch products Silk Premonition, Sophisticated Veil and Mystique Fountain all claim anti-aging benefits, but the main focus of these luxurious products, created by Pnina Vilinsky, is extreme hydration.

So what's the secret ingredient?
Pure Pacific Rainwater, untouched by toxins

These formulas are very light and easily absorbed into skin. They are delightful in texture. Receiving fragrance from their essential oil ingredients, they are not heavy, overbearing or harsh. These are products that leave skin with a silky feel, even and smooth. They're both fresh and exhilarating.

SOPHISTICATED VEIL - 35ml - $186
Facial Anti-Aging Deep Moisturizing Serum
It works to prevent your skin’s biggest challenge - premature aging. While supplying your skin with the most effective and advanced anti-aging ingredients (peptides, and Vitamin E and C with long-term benefits), Sophisticated Veil immediately enhances your skin, making it plumped and firm with a distinctly supple and beautiful look. Its deep moisturization improves and refreshes your skin’s appearance on a daily basis. As its name implies, this unique serum gently wraps your skin in a nourishing “veil” that is sheer, breathable and very protective. Preventing loss of hydration, it instantly gives your skin a “lifted” and brightened appearance, and makes your skin smoother and softer to the touch.

SILK PREMONITION - 40ml - $150
Facial Deep Moisturizing Anti-Aging Lotion
As it moisturizes, nourishes and enhances the natural skin barrier, it also protects your skin from free radicals with our Special Exotic Extract, a one of a kind complex. Elegant and rich in natural ingredients and essential oils, Silk Premonition helps refine your skin’s look instantly, rejuvenating its overall appearance, giving you glamorous looking skin that feels soft, smooth and silky to the touch. At the same time, LUXTURAL™’s smart delivery system is supplying your skin with the best anti-aging, microencapsulated components in today’s cosmetic science.

MYSTIQUE FOUNTAIN - 100ml - $78
Facial Deep Hydrating Rainy Mist
A superb hydrator for any skin type. Mystique Fountain tones and calms, cools and refreshes your skin, naturally protecting it from environmental damage as it reduces inflammation. Based on our Pure Pacific Ocean Rainwater (clean, soft water gathered before ever touching the earth, naturally free of harsh chemicals or contaminants) Mystique Fountain actually aids your skin in drawing moisture from the air. This also allows it to be absorbed faster and, most importantly, helps your skin retain the moisture it has.

Completely intrigued with the new focus on skincare - genetics - I wanted to share with you a piece from Elle magazine's report on the new trend. DNA-decoding chips, gene-targeting creams, and a cutting edge chemical that may turn old skin young again: Genetics are beauty's new fronter. What follows has been excerpted from Elle: The Gene Genies, March 2009 issue.

It’s funny that genes have been linked to whether or not we’ll end up being neurotic (on top of whether we’ll have blond hair, Olympic-level musculature, or an increased risk of breast cancer) since, beauty-wise, genes seem to be the latest thing worth getting neurotic about. Turns out the genes of skin cells, being relatively accessible, are also surprisingly mutable. Consider this: Even the tiny dose of UV light you encounter on a sunny morning commute can cause DNA damage, leading to a cascade effect of aging—spots, lines, even skin cancer. (Are you reaching for the sunscreen yet?) Or this: Last year, by manipulating DNA, a Stanford scientist pulled off the lab-rat equivalent of turning Betty White into Scarlett Johansson—he made the skin of old mice young again in a mere two weeks.

“Until now, we’ve focused on freeradical scavenging, sunscreen, premature aging—that’s what we know,” says a visibly excited Daniel Maes, PhD, the senior vice president of research and development at Estée Lauder. “Now we’ve entered the era of genetic aging.” At the moment, beauty companies are diving into genetargeting territory with incredible optimism, not to mention speed—and they’re beating big pharma to the checkout line. “Beauty companies are able to get products on the market early because they’re not regulated by the FDA,” says MIT biologist and leading genetics researcher Leonard Guarente, PhD. “In a way, they’re the vanguard.”

The Miami Valley Innovation Center— a sprawling Procter & Gamble think tank outside of Cincinnati—aims to lead the charge. Here a team of “gene jockeys” analyzes hundreds of people’s genetic fingerprints via a NASA-worthy technology called GeneChips. Every cell in our bodies contains the same two interlocking strands of DNA— nearly 34,000 genes. But not every gene is active in every cell; the ones that are active determine the cell’s identity and function, be it muscle, skin, liver, or even cancer. More than 20,000 are in play in skin, some more than others. Like everything else, genes weaken with age. They can slow down or get stuck in the “on” or “off” position—hence genetic aging. GeneChips measure skin’s levels of RNA, the messenger molecules through which DNA dispatches its orders, telling cells to replicate, pump out collagen, or even die. Analyzing GeneChips is “like looking at 54,000 dimmer switches,” Tiesman says. “Are they saying MAKE COLLAGEN or make collagen?”

The company’s most surprising GeneChip discovery has been not so much what happens when we age (sagging, wrinkles, dehydration—genetics affect all of these little marvels), but which gene- influenced factors seem to be doing the most damage. The two main culprits are 1) inflammation and 2) an impaired moisture barrier. “The barrier is skin’s first line of defense. It keeps good stuff in and bad stuff—bacteria, fungus, harsh chemicals, allergens, pollution, cigarette smoke—out,” says Rosemarie Osborne, a P&G Beauty principal scientist. “When the barrier is compromised, skin focuses entirely on restoring it, which slows down everything else.”

What does P&G propose to do about it? The new Olay Professional Pro-X line was cooked up to compensate for these changes. Hexamidine, one of its star ingredients, jump-starts the enzymes that produce barrier-friendly lipids. (Hexamidine also exemplifies P&G’s wacky but brilliant tendency to cross-pollinate: Giving new meaning to the phrase “softer than a baby’s bottom,” the compound was originally developed to stabilize skin conditioners in Pampers.) As for the daily oxidative assault on our DNA, chances are your skin-care regimen is already providing some assistance: antioxidants such as vitamin C, green tea, and pomegranate help disarm renegade free radicals.

Some scientists are targeting specific age-regulating genes—which brings us back to those young-again miracle mice. “A lot of people have the idea that aging is the accumulation of wear and tear on the body, and that’s certainly true,” says Howard Chang, MD, PhD, an associate professor of dermatology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. “But besides accumulated damage, there’s also the separate idea that some genes might actually be controlling the overall life span of an organism by coordinating the rate of aging.” When Chang’s team applied a topical chemical to block NF-kappaB (a signal that turns on with age and controls the activity of hundreds of genes), the mice’s skin looked and behaved like that of newborns: thicker, with more cell division and the same active genes seen in young mice.

Before you book your flight to Palo Alto, bear in mind that Chang’s mice were genetically engineered to respond to the chemical. (It wouldn’t work on normal mice, let alone humans.) And the consequences of blocking this process are still unclear. Nonetheless, the takeaway is breathtaking: “Aging is surprisingly plastic,” Chang says. “Tissue can revert back to its youthful state.”

NF-kappaB may be a long way from becoming a household word, but another genetic age-determiner is not: sirtuins. This family of seven “longevity genes” (plus the proteins they encode for) regulates DNA repair, recombination, and aging, and could be the key to aging-related diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer’s.

In 2000, Guarente led a landmark study in which a Spartan diet of 1,000 to 1,500 daily calories—believed for decades to extend life span—was shown to work, at least in part, by activating sirtuins. Starvation sets off an alarm in the cell, forcing it to work economically and slowing down cellular division. In 2003, Harvard Medical School associate professor of pathology David Sinclair, PhD (a former Guarente mentee), discovered the sirtuin-activating powers of resveratrol, the polyphenol found in red wine. Resveratrol extends the life span of mice by 24 percent and that of other animals, including flies and worms, by as much as 59 percent. At press time, a phase two clinical trial of an oral resveratrol supplement for humans was nearing completion; as of now, though, we’d have to quaff roughly 1,500 bottles of vino per day—too much, even for me—to get comparable results.

So far, skin-care companies are focused on SIRT1, the sirtuin that, like a cautious governess, reins in excessive cellular proliferation to allow cells to complete their repair cycle. Dior, Avon, and London’s Ren Clean Bio Active Skincare all offer various sirtuin-stimulating products, but Estée Lauder has made these still-mysterious proteins its primary antiaging target. “We’ve found a gold mine, and we’re exploring it to the end,” Maes says.

Sirtuins, in fact, are the perfect skin solution for Maes, who seems to support the “tortoise and the hare” model of cellular rejuvenation. In a world of retinoids, acid peels, and microdermabrasion—all intended to speed cell turnover in order to reveal a spanking-new, unblemished surface—he wants to do the opposite: slow it down, giving cells extra time to repair their own DNA damage before replication. Yes, you read right—this would mean that high-strength retinoids, every dermatologist’s best friend, may be causing aging in the long run. “We know that cells are programmed to reproduce a very specific number of times,” Maes says. “Speeding them up uses up your potential for cellular division so that, when you get older, your skin will be worn out.”

Last year, Estee Lauder introduced Re-Nutriv Ultimate Youth Creme, a $250 wondersalve packed with a proprietary version of resveratrol. The brand’s new Time Zone (at $58, significantly more wallet-friendly) does the trick with a patented rice extract; in vitro tests showed a 200 percent increase in collagen synthesis and 79 percent fewer cell deaths after UV exposure.

Meanwhile, back in the lab, even resveratrol is aging out. The new kid on the block has a wonky name (SRT1720) but major muscle. In a study published in November, mice who ate a high-fat, high-calorie meal plan for 15 weeks—plus regular doses of SRT1720—emerged with the traits of younger, healthier rodents: lower cholesterol, less obesity-related disease, and better insulin sensitivity. If it can do that on the inside, imagine what it could do for your face.

Elle takes a look at Aaron De Mey, Lancôme's Artistic Director, who clearly leads by his own artistic creativity - remember the first item he rolled out for Lancôme: the limited edition Piha black lipgloss. Here, an excerpt from Elle giving us a peek into De Mey's inner sanctum.

“I like extremes, surprises, and opposites,” says Aaron De Mey. Spend an hour with him and you’re likely to leave with lip-shine on your eyelids and eye shadow on your cheeks. “Studying art gave me a great understanding of color and texture,” De Mey says. “My technique is all about emphasizing individuality and confidence.”

How can I use black lip gloss and not look goth?
I layer it over red lipstick to give depth to the mouth—the sheerer the lipstick, the subtler the effect. I apply gloss, in any shade, only in the center of the lips—this gives the effect of a full, sexy pout. You can use clear or black gloss on your eyelids, too.

How so?
Marlene Dietrich used to make her own smoky, glossy eye shadow by burning a cork and then mixing it with Vaseline. You can achieve a similar effect by patting a dab of lip gloss into the center of your lid—it gives an incredible shine and texture that you can’t get with an eye product. Just try not to apply it to the outer corner of the eye, as this might make mascara travel.

I’ve also seen you use lipstick and gloss as blush; is that something a non-pro should try?
Of course! A great way to choose the right shade is to match the natural color of the inside of your lower lip. Dab a small amount onto the apples of your cheeks, and use your fingers to blend it high on the cheekbones. I use Lancôme liquid lipstick: Its sheen creates a youthful and glowing appearance.

What else can sculpt the face?
You want to highlight, lift, and create definition. Use a bronzer or blush in a shade that complements your skin tone, and gently blend it into the natural shadows of your face—under your cheekbones and chin and on your temples. Remember not to be too heavy-handed. Always start with a small amount of product and build from there—better too little than too much.

How can irreverence be incorporated into everyday makeup?
Makeup should be individual and expressive. I want women to wear any color or texture they want, no matter what the time of day or occasion, like wearing powerful red lipstick to the supermarket or a black punky liquid eyeliner at 10 a.m.

But liquid eyeliner is hard to master at any time of day.
Use a small angled brush, like the one you use on your brows, because it gives you more freedom than the one in the tube. Just make sure that the outer ends sweep upward, which gives a lifting effect to the eye. I also encourage experimenting with different colors like blue, green, or pink. Have some fun.

How can fuchsia eye shadow be wearable?
Line the upper and lower lids with a black pencil, and smudge it into the lashes using an eye shadow brush—this balances out the pink and keeps the look flattering and chic. Blend the fuchsia shadow into the natural contour of your lid, building it so that it’s more intense in the crease. Apply a lot of black mascara, and then use pale pink shadow to highlight the top of the brow bone.

DE MEY'S PRODUCTS DU JOUR
Lancôme Pink Irreverence Color Design Eyeshadow Quad
De Mey uses the palette “to create a contoured classic eye or just to impart a delicate pink wash of color to the lids.”

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
He favors this foundation because “it’s a luxurious and full-coverage base that gives a flawless finish.”

Lancôme La Laque Fever Liquid Lipstick
De Mey loves because “alone or with a gloss, it’s a bright, vibrant, amazing color that makesa statement.”

Muji Cotton Swabs
“They’re a must for cleaning up smudges and for perfecting the shape of eye makeup,” says De May.

Mustela Hydra-Stick
This is another one of De Mey's favorites because “it’s protective, calming, and perfect for applying under lipstick. It can also be used on the cheekbones and the center of the nose to create a dewy, highlighted sheen.”

Pink Irreverence
Spring 2009 Color Collection by Aaron De Mey

Limited Edition

De Mey takes inspiration from irreverent French heroines Madame Bovary, Sylvie Fleurie, Marie Curie and Brigitte Bardot. Just like the colors in the collection, these women have marked their eras with panache and embody the essence of pure and daring femininity.

Twisting the traditional codes of elegance, Aaron has created an impertinent color statement that pairs Spring pinks against rebellious blacks and potent shine against pure matte textures. The pinks are reminiscent of Lancôme’s iconic rose, while the deep black shades are evocative of the Piha volcanic black beaches of Aaron’s native homeland of New Zealand. Products are meant to be layered to create an array of stunning looks.

La Laque Fever Full Color Lipshine
Passionate about painting, Aaron De Mey wanted to recreate the purity of lacquer color in a lip product. Densely pixilated pearls combine with polymers to give multi-dimensional shine that lasts for six hours. The ultra-modern, silver streamlined packaging conveys all the color and shine contained within. Available in four daring, non-fading shades: Electric Pink, Optical Rose, Lucent Nude and Iridescent. $26.00

Color Design Eyeshadow Quad
Two new eye shadow palettes express the color statement and the free, irreverent spirit of Aaron’s spring collection. Use the black sparkling shade in the Irreverent Madame palette to structure the eye. Layer and play with the remaining matte pink shades to bring the look up or down. $42.00

Laque Liner
This eyeliner’s precise brush makes lining and defining easy and fun. The Pure Black shade is perfect for creating a deep intense look, while Pure Sparkle’s clear, shimmery formula instantly enlightens eyes. $25.00

Color Design Illuminator for Eyes and Face
This creamy, cooling gel can be used alone or blended over another color to highlight and brighten the eye area. Apply the light texture over your eyelid and up to the brow bone or experiment by bringing it from the eye down to the cheekbone to create a beautiful aura that lights up the face. Available in two shades: High Expectations and Hard to Get. $20.00

Color Fever Gloss in Piha Black
Back by popular demand, Piha Black adds an irreverent twist to the spring collection with its deep black and sparkly, volcanic beach inspired color. Used as a topcoat, the gloss brings a subtle dark intensity and brightness to other lip shades. Use alone for an edgier look. $25.00

Le Vernis Nail Polish
Take your nails to the extreme. For a dark sultry look, accessorize your nails with Piha Black, the same gorgeous, sparkly black shade found in the Color Fever Gloss. Lighten things up with Sassiness, a pink shade that, according to Aaron, “is the ultimate color of spring.” $18.00
