Hey guys, just another quick post about something I'm sure everyone knows about. But for those whodont, I'm about to clue you up.
This little tube of goodness you see before you is Elizabeth Arden's 8hr cream, If you have seen it talked about on tv you will already know its one of the top beauty must haves. Basically this one tube of orange gel has a multitude of uses. Dry skin, Sun burn, Chapped lips... whack some of this on and in 8hrs your sure to be in a better place than you began.

You would assume something so moisturising would be greasy, but I don't find that it is at all, its like the skin just absorbs it.

I personally love this stuff, Ive been using it on a random dry patch that likes to come an visit me every time the weather changes, but this time the jokes on the dry patch lol. I have also been using this a highlight, that's right a highlight!!!! its perfect alone for a natural sheen on the cheekbone area or mix it with a pink or gold toned powder to give yourself a radiant boost, and it really lasts.
This is one of those things that should definitely lay beside your carmex in your handbag. You can pretty much pick this up from anywhere nowadays, or just hit google to grab yourself a bargain. Alternatively if you think your lucks in over on the Elizabeth Arden facebook page HERE they are giving away a product a day.

If any of you guys have any other uses for this, let me know....

Lets face it, the day couples love to love and singles love to hate is just around the corner. Theres no escaping hearts and flowers in every shop window, and that one annoying friend that talks about nothing else but the day in question.

If your one of those that are already planning your hair and make up from now (insert shocked face) then ARTDECO's irresistible beauty buys, loved by celebs may be just up your street.

Let me firstly kick off with the product I'm loving the most out of the 3. The 3 in 1 mascara (rrp £13.25) has to be one of the best mascaras I have used in a long time, my lashes have never looked so long.- celeb fan Michelle Keegan

What they say:
For even more volume and styling with long lasting colour. The new brush with fibres of different thickness and length fully adapts to the lashes to create a perfect styling. The high quality mascara wraps your lashes from base to tip, which result in longer looking, flexible and voluminous lashes. Fragrance free.

What I say:
To sum it up in a nutshell. They didn't lie, the mascara does exactly that, as you can see from the first picture, absolutely love it.

Next up, lip passion smooth touch lipstick (rrp £16.50) in shade 35 passion. Michelle Keegan is a fan of this too, and they can add another Michelle (me) to the list. This lipstick is like lip balm. It literally melts on your lips leaving them so soft. The application is lovely, it just glides on. This is also fragrance free and contains vitamin E and Shea butter.

Last but not least the Ceramic nail Lacquer (rrp £10.25) in spicy red. Although Holly Willoughby is a fan, I wasn't really a fan of this myself. The polish was a nice consistency and easy to apply but I love my colours to be opaque and this was not. The above picture was taken after 3 coats and I could still see my nails through it. So in all I Love the colour and the application, hate the fact its not opaque.

I had never tried ARTDECO products before now and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be looking at their lipstick range and investing in another mascara when this one runs out.

ARTDECO products are available from Fenwick Brent cross, Hoopers department stores Nationwide and HERE

Let me know if any of you have tried anything from this range....

Taking inspiration from an email I received a little while back about the Topshop Unique S/S 11 show, I decided to create the look myself. It was all about the lips with the eyes kept barely there. Skin was left looking fresh with tinted moisturiser and a highlight was applied to the areas the sun would naturally illuminate. SIMPLES.....
In reality this look is so pretty (crappy camera) and my lips were super super red.

Products used:
.Topshop Skin Tint in dark
.Topshop Skin Glow in dark
.Elite red lipgloss - available in Superdrug
.Maybelline Colour Sensation in Pleasure me red

I'm in love with the skin glow at the moment, it really does make skin glow, so if your into the whole dewy illuminate thing like me, you should definitely check it out next time your in topshop.

Maybelline have recently launched their new eraser foundation....Bold

What they say: The Eraser works above and below the skins surface to help erase the look of fine lines, crows feet, age spots and enlarged pores in an instant! With its patented applicator and active anti-aging formula, The Eraser works on two levels to offer our fastest and most efficient way to erase the appearance of skin imperfection.

What I Say (The Good):I think this is a lovely foundation, its a medium to heavy buildable coverage and is perfect for those who love the airbrushed look. I'm only 24 so I don't have crows feet and age spots, but I do have the odd enlarged pore that this covered nicely. The finish is more on the matte side with a soft glowy sheen and its very easy to blend, with a little going a very long way.

I wore this at the weekend without powdering it to see how long it would last and I got about 6hrs out of it (on my combination skin) before it started fading from my T-zone. Maybelline has always been my go to brand for high street foundations and they never seem to disappoint me.

(The Bad):
The only thing I don't like about this foundation is the whole eraser design. I see where they were trying to go with it but to be honest it just isn't practical. Firstly because you have to twist the neck of the bottle to get the foundation out, and if you click to much and loads comes out there is no way your getting it back in the bottle. And secondly because you cant remove the white sponge applicator to clean it, and if you do clean it your advised to only do so with a dry tissue. I mean after a while its either going to get clogged or its going to be a breeding ground for bacteria : /

All being said Id give this foundation a 8/10 The shad I used is Fawn

Its currently available at feel unique and costs £9.99 delivered

Feel free to ask any questions as I always seem to leave something out.

Hey ladies so sorry I have been MIA for the past few days, I have had a rather crazy weekend. But fear not I'm back with a post, and its a little random at that. Today I thought Id share with you a couple of things I'm loving from two ends of the spectrum.... Fashion and Beauty

First up we have Superdrugs Vitamin E creams, One for the day and one for the night. At £2.99 I cant stress enough what a worthwhile bargain these creams are. They keep my skin looking radiant, feeling soft and constantly hydrated. Neither of them are greasy, The night cream isn't too heavy and it leaves your skin feeling baby bum soft. The day cream soaks into the skin nicely leaving you the perfects canvas to apply your make up, It also has the added bonus of SPF 15.

I also have very sensitive skin, so I'm wary as to what touches it. I haven't had a single issue with these. I definitely think you should try these for a couple weeks next time your moisturiser runs out.

Next up..... The Aviator

I have wanted one on these for ever. With the one I had my eye on costing a whopping £150 I controlled myself knowing that one day I would find one that looked just like it.

And Primark does it again!! as soon as I saw this I had to double take, just to make sure I was actually in the right shop.

They payed attention to every single detail, from the buckles to the zips. The best thing is that it looks exactly the same as the £150 one I was eyeing up, but of course its not leather.

I think you all will agree it was a steal at £25 !!! although I do remember the days when a jacket in Primark cost no more than £15, where are they going with their prices nowadays *ROLLS EYES*

Superdrug are currently holding 3 for 2 mix 'n' match across all cosmetics, and there's no rush getting down there either as this marvelous deal ends in January.

I picked up the 2 Sleek blushes I was lusting after: Sunrise (L) and Rose Gold. At first I couldn't find them, and I felt a slight tantrum building up inside of me when the S.A told me they didn't stock them anymore "SAY WHAAAT" but just before I was ready to roll my eyes and start moaning to my friend, she told me she may have a couple stashed away in the draw, and she did woohoo!!

I also randomly discovered this beauty by Sue Moxley. It was said to be a bronzer so of course I was like "This isn't a bronzer!!" *swatch* and it definitely isn't. But it is one of the prettiest things I have ever seen.

It looks a lot like something that could have come from mac, its dome shaped, finely milled and the powder itself is super soft. The packaging is really nice and it has a massive mirror in the lid, as well as a brush to apply, which is a bit 'meh' to be honest.

I have been applying this with my duo fibre brush to set my foundation, and its lovely. It gives a beautiful soft focus sheen to the skin without making you look white and dusty.

Swatches above from Left to Right: Sleek Sunrise, Sue Moxley-Miami and Sleek Rose Gold

I love all of these and would happily buy them again, especially Rose Gold, its so gorgeous.

Sleek Blushes - £3.99
Sue Moxley Miami - £6

Have any of you taken advantage of the 3 or 2? I think I want to try the Loreal Voluminous Mascara so I will definitely be going back......

A few weeks ago I was sent the Lierac mask(right) which retails at £18.I was intrigued to try it for the pure fact I was always a fan of mud type masks.

I will get to what I thought of the mask in a sec,but for those of you that may not appreciate the price of this, keep your eye on the left hand side of the page.

Back in the day I was a big fan of superdrugs £2 mud face mask(left).Every week I would slap it on my face, then I would kick back and chill whilst it worked its magic.

I usually use these types of masks once a week.

If you can just about read the writing below,(If you cant right click and open it in a new tab.)Both of these products basically do the same thing.Although I must say the lierac one is better on a couple more levels.

As you can see below, after a while the superdrug one can get a little runny.(please note, this is an old bottle and the packaging has been changed since then, but for the life of me I couldn't find my newer bottle.)I still had the same issue with my newer bottle though. The Lierac one is a much nicer consistency.

They both have exfoliation beads in them,as you can see from the image above, and they both set to a hard mask. The good thing about the Lierac mask is that when its on your face,it actually starts chilling.I didnt even know it did this until I began to wonder why my face felt so cold.I literally ran from my room to read the leaflet, and was like ohhhhh ok!

On the flip side, the superdrug one doesn't chill itself, but I suppose you could pop it in the fridge.

I must say,I have used the superdrug mask for the closest part of 5years,and I have used the Lierac one for nearly 2months.

As soon as I switched to Lierac,I did notice a difference in my skin. Its smooth, and im sure im looking more radiant.(well id like to believe I am)

If you ever need a skin pick me up,you should definitely try the Lierac mask HERE Or If you dont like the price, try the superdrug one HERE its just as good.

Can any of you give me a heads up on any dupes,or products that are just as good as each other?

Girls I am BACK!!!! I cant believe I was forced to leave my poor blog for so so long.First my internet stopped working then the power supply on my pc decided to blow up.I just got it sorted today and the net has just decided to work again. In future If I disappear and you dont see your comments pop up,Its most probably something to do with my blasted internet connection. So glad I can finally blog again, withdrawal symptoms were starting to kick in.

So anyway I could still tweet through my phone thank god,and some of you may have seen me moaning about my skin.Something Iv used or come into contact with has disagreed with my skin. Some parts are ever so dry and I know there's something wrong because my skin has never been like this before, ever.

I was going to get some vitamin E oil,but then I started thinking, what did I used to use before that was great on my skin and never failed me.And the answer was the boots botanics skin brightening toner and cleanser. My skin was amazing when I was using this stuff and the only reason I didn't re purchase it was because I whenever I would go to my boots there were never any left.

But today I got the last laugh because it was 3 for 2 so I picked up the last bottle of cleanser and the last two bottles of Toner "SCORE"

The cleanser contains sweet maple, biliberry and sweet cane all these ingredients contain natural AHA's to brighten and renew the skins surface. The texture of the cleanser is that of a light moisturiser.I find that my skin is left really soft after using it.

Next up the skin brightening toner which contains Equisetum,an ancient plant that was used for its purifying properties,it tones the skin and refines pores.

Both of these products are going back on the bathroom shelf where they belong.I should have never removed them.when I was using these in the past I did see a noticeable difference in my skins appearance.Cant wait to start my regime again.

Available from Boots rrp £3.99 but at the moment it is 3 for 2 on all skincare

Have any of you guys used anything from the botanics range?

Hope you all missed me and my next post should be up tomorrow.xx

I was sent a few tea tree products from superdrug to try out.Iv been using both just over 3 weeks and I just had to share my thoughts as I couldn't contain them.

Ok,so I received the tea tree facial scrub and face moisturiser, tea tree oil and some face mask samples. What Im going to be talking about today is the exfoliating cream face wash and the moisturiser.

At first I was a little apprehensive about putting something new on my face because my skin doesn't seem to appreciate change. But none the less as it was Tea tree I was quite sure It couldn't do any harm.

So anyway,I already have a face cream that I use in the day and I didn't want to change that.So I decided to use this moisturiser at night instead.Makes sense to use something that soothes the skin after a long day.
(all pics are click to enlarge)
My thoughts on the cream:This moisturiser contains tea tree and peppermint oils and aloe vera extract. Its also paraben free. When I first used it I definitely felt the cooling effects of the peppermint. It was easily absorbed, and left my skin feeling fresh and moisturised. When I woke up in the morning my skin was extremely soft.I dont really think I can fault this.the only thing I would say is that it has quite a strong peppermint smell which some people may not like.I think this will be a great product to use in the summer if we ever get one.

Next up we have the tea tree exfoliating cream face wash...

Im not kidding this is probably the best face wash I have ever used in my life, and Im not just saying that because it was sent to me.This face wash is amazing. From first use my skin felt soft smooth and by the time the first week was up my face was glowing. The smell again very minty. This product is a cream face wash and the little bits in it that exfoliate are from walnut shell granules. The granules are really quite small but you can still feel them working. The consistency of this isn't as thick as your usual cream face wash, its a tad runny, but a little goes a long way.At first I was using this everyday, but then realised leaving a day in between would be best because it was ever so slightly drying on my forehead.

This product is not something I would even look at in the shops if im being honest,I usually just stick to what I know and what my face agrees with,But I will definitely be buying this when this one runs out

I haven't yet used the face masks, because im saving them for when I feel like relaxing and pampering myself, but I will update you to how I get on with those. And the only thing ive done with the tea tree oil is sniffed it,because someone told me that the antibacterial base to the oil can prevent you from getting ill.If that's a lie,the joke is on me,and I just look like a weirdo sniffing something from a bottle.None the less I haven't caught any colds from the people that have been coughing and sneezing around me so maybe it does work.

The products are available from superdrug and its currently 2 for £5 bargain!!

Do any of you use any tea tree products,or have any tips or great ways of using the oil?

I got me some of this today,I picked it up in natural tan, instead of my usual maybelline dream satin liquid (which I love) But I just wanted to try something new, plus it was 3 for 2 in superdrug.Which may I just add,I don't know what the hell was wrong with me today, even though it was 3 for 2 I only picked this up,I was so confused as to what else to buy, that's not good-im losing my make up mojo

This foundation is apparently a dupe to a mac foundation, but for the life of me I cant remember the name,I think its studio something.Anyhoo Iv heard that this foundation is one not to budge,Which is good because I have to say my maybelline one always seems to have gone after a few hours,so im intrigued to see how this one compares, flawless skin that lasts all day,you cant really complain

So anyway,Ive put some on one of my cheeks, and its ok,but im not sure it compares to my maybelline, but one swatch isnt enough to judge it by so I will give it a bit more of a chance than that

If any of you have used this and you think your comments will make me feel happy about my purchase, pleas go ahead and leave one letting me know how you got on with it yada yada yada.....

: )

So I was sent three things from e.l.f to have a play around with...

The studio golden bronzer,The mineral booster and a mineral lip colour in royal red

So to start off with the bronzer,I love it,its such a nice colour, its so sheer but adds an illuminous warmth to the skin,Only thing is,i touched it to swatch it for you guys and the bloody thing cracked, its now got a massive hole in it.....

It then became apparent to me that the powder didnt go all the way through the tin,it was just a thin layer, with a space underneath,i think that if they were only going to provide a thin layer of product they should actually set it at the bottom ot the case,to avoid crackin,But aside from that little misshap, its a lovely bronzer,i would defo order another-click to get yours

The second one was the mineral booster loose powder with' vitamins A, B and E to promote healthier skin that’s noticeably silkier and smoother'

I have been using this for a few days now,and im not sure I can fault it,All you do is tap a little out, swirl your brush in it,then swirl it all over your face,to set your makeup,or you can also wear it alone,I sometimes have a problem with makeup sliding off my face when im hot so this definately helps,it also made my skin feel silky after applying it,Theres no need for expense when this works and only costs £3.50-Click here to get yours

And lastly it seems like, lipsticks are like buses to me,I never use them, then two come along at once....

The last product is a mineral lipstick in royal red,It also costs £3.50,The only downfall i would say is that the lipstick is slightly darker than the swatch on the site, but other than that its good lipstick,it goes on smoothely and the pigment is great,Its 100% mineral and leaves lips feeling soft,it actually didnt feel like I had anything on after I had applied it.And the colour stayed put for ages,I would recomend these lipsticks if you were looking for shades to suit you,as their so cheap but they deliver-click here to get yours

Feel free to ask me anythhing,I may of left out

Have you used any of these products yet? if you have, how did you get on?

: )

So iv had this little gadget for a while now

Ive just uploaded a web pic so you can see how it comes

Its called the neutrogena wave

Its a vibrating face cleanser, that has small pads you attach to it and wet
These pads then foam up when the wave is in use

mind you,if you have seen the add, they dont foam up that much.....

Im not going to pretend that i use mine religiously,as its really hard for me to stick to things
But when i have used it,I must say when i have used it,it has worked

It cleans down deep into pores leaving your skin feeling crazy fresh and baby soft.
all in all i like it as it does the cleansing and toning for me,yay

It does comes with a refill pack of 12 pads i think, honestly cant remember

heres the link for it at boots if your interested

: )

So i finally got my hands on this stuff,I have only been using it for a week but i love it

Its quite thick in consistancy, and has tiny green beads in it that burst when you rub it into your face

You can leave it on for,3 min for a refreshing pick me up,or for 15 for a deep cleansing treatment

Of course i leave it on for 15min lol, what girl wouldnt.......

I love everything about it,from the menthol smell to the way it feels when you put it on,to how soft the skin feels when you wash it off

Thumbs up from moi

you can get yours from boots or just click here

:)

So i really want to get my hands on this stuff

Soap and glory fab pore facial peel

But it seems every boots store i go into doesnt stock it grrrrr
how anoying

Will i ever get my hands on it,i hope i do
