Maybelline have recently launched their new eraser foundation....Bold

What they say: The Eraser works above and below the skins surface to help erase the look of fine lines, crows feet, age spots and enlarged pores in an instant! With its patented applicator and active anti-aging formula, The Eraser works on two levels to offer our fastest and most efficient way to erase the appearance of skin imperfection.

What I Say (The Good):I think this is a lovely foundation, its a medium to heavy buildable coverage and is perfect for those who love the airbrushed look. I'm only 24 so I don't have crows feet and age spots, but I do have the odd enlarged pore that this covered nicely. The finish is more on the matte side with a soft glowy sheen and its very easy to blend, with a little going a very long way.

I wore this at the weekend without powdering it to see how long it would last and I got about 6hrs out of it (on my combination skin) before it started fading from my T-zone. Maybelline has always been my go to brand for high street foundations and they never seem to disappoint me.

(The Bad):
The only thing I don't like about this foundation is the whole eraser design. I see where they were trying to go with it but to be honest it just isn't practical. Firstly because you have to twist the neck of the bottle to get the foundation out, and if you click to much and loads comes out there is no way your getting it back in the bottle. And secondly because you cant remove the white sponge applicator to clean it, and if you do clean it your advised to only do so with a dry tissue. I mean after a while its either going to get clogged or its going to be a breeding ground for bacteria : /

All being said Id give this foundation a 8/10 The shad I used is Fawn

Its currently available at feel unique and costs £9.99 delivered

Feel free to ask any questions as I always seem to leave something out.

I love Maybelline colour sensations. It was one of these lipsticks that made me realise I could wear lipstick. Recently they added some new shades to the range as well as expanding it with the newly advertised colour sensation pearl.

As well as smelling sweet and yummy,I find these lippies to be very nourishing. Swatches below are in the same order as above.
I have also done some lip swatches for you. I haven't used anything to block out my natural lip colour which is actually quite dark, so please be aware the colours could look a lot different on someone else.
Pink punch is a bit brighter in reality (bloody camera) and kiss pearl is slightly more pearly.

The colour sensation lipsticks are very pigmented especially the brighter shades. I usually find one swipe enough for me. On the other hand, colour sensation pearl is more natural looking, great for those who prefer a more subtle lip. The colour pay off is sheer and natural leaving lips with just a hint of colour.

You can pick up these lovely lippies from Superdrugs or Boots
Colour Sensation rrp £6.99
Colour Sensation pearl rrp £7.19

Whats your favourite Colour Sensation?

I have now seen the add for this foundation a few times and from what I have experienced with maybelline in the past,I am really eager to try it.

I really am stopping myself from running out to buy this for the pure fact I dont need any foundations at the moment. But nothings going to stop little old me from being curious. Its £6.99 in boots at the moment. You know what, screw it .I know im going to end up buying it.

Have any of you tried this yet or are you planning too?

If so you have to let me know how you get on with it.

So not many of us knew it existed, but enough of us knew to ensure I couldnt get hold of it in my local boots or superdrug.Ladies Ladies 2010 is the year for sharing lol.
Theres not even an advert for this mascara, yet its flying off the shelves.

Maybelline never fail to amaze me when they decide to bring out a new mascara, whenever they do im always intrigued to try it.

What am I talking about some of you might be thinking, why Maybelline falsies mascara of course.

As you can see it basically looks like a purple version of the famous collosal mascara, but please dont be fooled into thinking they are the same,oh how the wand tells a different story.....

What Maybelline say "The Falsies Mascara delivers a false lash look; giving you a full set of voluminous, bold, fanned out lashes and the appearance of no gaps from any angle.

The Pro-Keratin and Fibre enriched formula is designed to deliver immediate results, distributing volume and visible intensity to your lashes. The patented ‘Spoon’ shaped brush helps fan lashes out."

What I say...
The wand is slightly curved and flattish (just making up words now) on one side, which allows you to coat every lash.

Please note:My eyelids are not this greasy LOL,this is what happens when you cream your face with Nivea in the morning, and I only realised it looked like this when I made the picture big, seriously weren't about to take another picture of my eye,we all know how annoying it is to get a picture that's half decent.....

Anyway,up top as you can see no mascara and I havnt curled them either, just so I could get a better idea of how good the finished result would be.

Im pretty happy,Its like collosal but it gives a much more length to the lashes. The formula is not thick and goopy, nor is it watery, its just right.Above is 2 light coats, and there's not a clump in sight as promised by Maybelline. My lashes also feel soft, they are not hard and crispy, which I must admit is a first for me when it comes to mascara.

I rushed to put this on in the morning,In fact I was half asleep when my buzzer went.Hurrah, things I had ordered finally arrived.I knew alot of people had been wondering about this so I slapped it on for that reason, and also the fact that I felt like being overly extra..

The right eye in this picture, gives you a nice idea of what effect this mascara gives,I would love to see what would happen after applying a good few coats.

I will definitely be purchasing this again once this one begins to run low.Its availabe from boots and superdrug and retails at £7.99

Have any of you tried this yet?
:)

p.s Ive just realised how rubbish these pictures are-Im gonna put new ones up later.x

Haha,so trying maybellines colour sensation made me a complete convert to lipstick,so much so that when I was out last week I had to pick up fatal red....

Sorry its applied a tad crappy, all on my skin and that, but im still a lipstick learner lol, well for bright colours like this anyway

I love it,and im sure it will look great when my hair and make-up is properly done.

I just need somewhere decent to go now.....

And on the flip side to make this post random,I bought a grey beenie hat for the winter,You know the ones that are baggy at the back

I had a khaki one last year, and for the life of me I swear I look like a teapot,Hats will never suit me no matter how hard I try. It does sadden me,because I would like to keep my head warm in the winter without looking like ive stuck a tea cosy on my head : (

Ah well,I guess some are lucky enough to wear hats, and im one of those that are not,I might add though, the only hats that actually suit me are those giant floppy ones that jlo always wore, but thats really no good to me at all,I dont know why I tried to make myself feel good by saying that lol

Oh and im really interested in trying colour sensation in pink me up,so if anyones got any pics of that one,let me know

: D

I was dieing to try this,as i was wondering if it would really would work.At the moment i am addicted to maybelline collosal, cant get enough, but it seems maybelline always steps up their game when they bring out a new mascara

So heres the before and after......

you can clearly see this is before lol

And after........

Its definately given me some serious flutter appeal, but it is one to get the hang of....

You control the vibration as you hold down the button to keep it on,and release to stop.Im not sure whether the vibration did anything apart from tickle my eye slightly,I dont think it helped seperate my lashes
I found its best to let the wand do the work,as the first time I attempted to join in, and my lashes stuck together : (

However, the second time I used it,I seemed to have got the nack (yay)
and I achieved nicer results

All in all I think its a nice mascara if you wish to achieve a longer fuller lash look
You just have to get used to the feeling of letting the wand do the work

I dont think it will replace my collosal though...

The pulse perfection retails at around £14

Have you tried this mascara yet? what do you think

So I was kindly sent the new maybelline pulse perfection mascara, and colour sensation lipppie by Natalie Kitcher Headsteam pr(thanks again,so kind)

This review Is going to be on the lipstick, colour sensation In 427 EXTATIC CORAL...

Now,I actually never wear lipstick,I only own 2 nude shades,I dont know why,but I have always thought I look a bit of a fool in It

I swear I have been converted,I was sent EXTATIC CORAL,At first glance I decided it was a browny colour with a slight reddish tint to it (mmm very descriptive lol)

I then smelt it,seriously I dont know why,but I did....
It smelt sweet, like sweets,so its definately not the usual lipstick smell.I ran into my bathroom to try it out, getting ready to look like a fool, but as I was applying it,I realised the colour was so natural and It complemented my skin tone very well.....

Its not even as red as this I think my camera picked it up differently
Its def more muted

My lips also feel moisturised, and there not sticky either
This is definately a wearable everyday shade and Im glad I was sent It to try,As of now I vow to try things im scared of,I never knew what I was missing out on

Ha,Just another exuse to go shopping....

I think Ive covered everything my little mind could think of
But if you have any questions, feel free to ask away

Until then,If your like me,and you have always been a bit scared of lipstick,Id say a shade like this one would be a safe place to start

Oh it cost £6.84 and at BOOTS at the moment its 3 for 2

: )

So im giving up on face of the day,why i hear you ask....Because my makeup never ever shows up
see.....

Am i meant to pile it on so the camera picks it up,if so maybe its best i do it in the evening, dont want to scare anyone.

I will say what i am wearing, even though there may be no point

eyes-sleek ink pot in black, maybelline collosal mascara and rimmel black eye pencil

lips-elf moisture care lip colour in caramel candy

face-elf colour stick in persimon.collection 2000 shimmer and shine bronzer

I assure you ther is makeup there, even if you cant see it : )

So heres my face of the day...

I dont really wear much makeup as my face cant carry it : )
but on the plus side i can carry off a killer smokey eye...yay

so today i have on

eyes-maybelline collosal and rimmel back pencil eyeliner
lips-rimmel 700 nude delight
cheeks-elf colour stick

pretty booooring i know

I also wanted to show some love for my mascara,i love how it makes my lashes look

And thats with one coat

I love it,and its only £6 or £7,such a bargain

Theres a picture of it a couple blogs down

I do recomend you buy it and try it.x

I love my mascara

You have probably seen it around, its the best thing i have ever used,i will be reviewing it shortly.

But to get back on track,i love my mascara, but i hate that it tends to always dry out when im kinda broke. It actually isnt expensive,so i could just go out and get another. But like every woman,i choose to hold onto it and make it last instead.

so heres a couple tips for you all

NEVER PUMP your mascara,ALWAYS TWIST.pumping lets in excess air which dries the mascara out.

And if your mascara has dried out,but deep down you know theres lots inside.

Heat up some water in the kettle.

let it slightly cool

pour some into a mug or any other heat resistant item, like a jug or something.

pop yor mascara into the water,LID ON!

leave for 15-20 min

take your mascara out

and you should be ready to go

the hot water should bring the mascara back to its natural consistancy.

so if your like me and you want to make your mascara last, try it.

let me know how you get on.x
