I have the type of hair that nothing really works on, so when I find a product that does work I tend to add it to my mini train of products that could.

John Frieda 3 Day straight is a semi permanent styling spray that keeps hair straight for up to 3 days or until you next wash it. The reason I love this idea is because its cheap!!! I was never going to part with hundreds for a Brazilian blow dry for it not to work, resulting in me being left traumatised.

How you use it: Spray EVENLY through wet or towel dry hair. Blow dry hair and then straighten. It also protects your hair from heat so no need to load up your barnet with a concoction of products.

The product stays in your hair until you wash it out, so if you notice any waves or kinks over the following days, using your straighteners will reactivate the product and take you back to sleek avenue.

The first time I used it I was in shock. My hair was straight, soft and shiny. I didn't feel any sticky build up (which I was fearing) and I could still run my fingers through my hair, which is a definite must for me. But we all know when I road test a product once is not enough, oh no..... I used it a few more times with the same results. I tend to have to put some kind of heat to my hair daily to control it, but even on day 3 I still didn't have too.

I would definitely recommend this is you love your straight hair or even if your trying to give your hair a break from heat like me. Its well worth it, and at £6.99 you cant complain.

you can pick this up online or at your local drug stores.

I tend to get real bored of my hair, but one things certain, when winter hits I go back to my natural colour.

The other day this dropped through my door, via a first come first serve thing on John Friedas facebook page.

Now my natural hair is really dark, and usually when I go for a chocolate brown hair colour,I end up near enough black.

Not with this colour....

I went for medium chocolate brown from the new precision foam colour range. It was easy to apply without any drips. Im not going to lie,it was actually the first time I coloured my hair without the usual old hair dye towel round my neck.

The colour wasn't as dark as I thought, and with the flash on it shockingly matches the colour on the box.

Obviously in real life I dont walk around with a bright light shining on my head, but in natural daylight its so deep and chocolatey.

Sorry if the above pic has come out teeny,I cant judge anything through my phone :-\

Im loving it. I also cut a fringe in but im slowly bringing it across day by day to get used to it lol. I feel a tad mushroom like....

Will any of you be going darker for winter? I always find it fitting

For the past couple weeks iv been using a few products from the John Frieda LV range. The things iv been trying out are the thickening shampoo and conditioner, and the volume root boosting spray.

Clearly im going to try anything in my hair that has the word THICKENING in it lol

The shampoo and conditioner are meant to boost hairs fullness by 73% without weighing it down.

What I think: the shampoo and conditioner are very light weight and left my hair squeaky clean,I used the volume spray in my roots and blow dried my hair.It did look bigger than usual lol, kinda lioness like (thats what generally happens to my hair)

After I curled it and put my usual serum in my hair,It was really volumouse and it lasted. The one thing I would say is that im not too keen on the spray,my roots were feeling a bit sticky the next day which I didnt like.Im thinking this could be down to my hair type, and it would probably be suited to someone with a more European set of locks,Im going to let one of my friends try it to see if she gets on any better.

The next few times I used the shampoo and conditioner I didnt use the spray and still had good results

If my hairs soft and bigger than usual im happy.Im kind of obsessed with big hair lately,im not sure whats come over me....
