Me Me Me Shimmer Stack


[Colours swirled together]

In the past these babies have been dubbed the dupe of Bobbi Browns shimmer bricks and I can see why. Except if you don't want to go down the high end road, you can pick these up for  £9.99 (currently on deal for £8.49 online)

If your into your highlights and iridescent shimmers then one of these stacks will do the job for you. With each stack containing 5 shades and with 3 different stacks to choose from (pink, gold and bronze) there's one to suit everyone.

The stacks in the pictures above are the gold and the pink. I must say at present the gold is my fave. I use the top colour in the stack daily to highlight my brow bone and swirl the golds together to give my cheeks a subtle golden glow.

I originally thought that these stacks would be packed with glitter before I opened them, but to my surprise they weren't. They give you more of a sheen/glow to the skin rather than that, 'I just dipped my face in some glitter' look, which nobody really wants.

 I find that they are best applied lightly with a large fluffy brush or a duo fibre brush. I tend to apply mine in a 'C' shape, from my cheek bone to my brow bone lightly blending as I go.

I have had these for some time now and I honestly think that its one of those products that will last a while, as one swirl goes a long way. I did try and take pictures of each of the colours in the stack individually but my crappy camera just wasn't picking up the colours! I managed to get a picture of all the shades swirled together to give you a rough idea of what I'm rambling on about. So next time your in Superdrug, have a little swatch of your own.

MeMeMe The Brights Collection...

Just thought I would share with you the latest edition to MeMeMe's nail collections...

The brights collection is indeed that! It includes 4 eye catching colours to get you in that summertime mood.

From let to right: 60 Vivacious a bright hot pink, 89 Tenacious a fabulous turquoise, 64 Spirited a peachy orange and 80 Impulsive a bright Lemony yellow

I have to say that my fave is definitely the peachy orange, closely followed by the pink. I'm thinking that the green and yellow would look great with a tan (note to self.. tan later).

I have posted about MeMeMe polishes in the past, and I must admit I didn't get on well with the size of the brush, it was just too big for my nails! (thumbs down). I seem to have got the knack of it now though (thumbs up) YAY!. The polish is a nice consistency, 2 coats and I was done. It also dried majorly fast too.

MeMeMe Elektra...

MeMeMe have just launched 10 stunning new shades of lipsticks which have only just hit the shelves in Superdrug.

The long wear satin lip cream lipsticks are laced with Shea Butter and Vitamin E to help protect lips, they also have a light vanilla scent Mmmm... 

This applies like a dream, it literally melts onto the lips, leaving them feeling soft and your pout looking sexy. I am so in love with the colour, its highly pigmented and one swipe across the lips is all you need for that wow factor.

There are 9 other shades in the collection from nudes to corals and pinks.

Blush And Go...

Sometimes you gotta love the go-to brands for the things you just need.

For a long time now I have been loving these products and I'm sure a lot of you know already that they are a sure dupe for the Benefit ones but at a fraction of the price.

EVERYDAY I use the moonbeam highlight without fail. I definitely think its a must have for the make up bag. I just pat a little on my cheekbone up to my brow bone and I'm done... radiant glow in an instant. You can also use it under foundation to brighten the skin, giving you that dewy look we all love. No chunks of glitter included! and I find it lasts quite long on me too. They also do this in a golden tone too (sunbeam) which I need to get me some more of because my ones empty : ( sad times

I don't use the cheek & lip tint as often but I use it enough to be able to tell you I love it. I pat a little on my lips followed by some Carmex for a sexy but demure pout, and when the sun was out, this was giving my cheeks a long lasting natural flush of colour. This also comes in a pink shade, Poppy Tint that I haven't tried yet, let me know if I should...

Fire Eyes.......

Hey girls I'm back with an eye look courtesy of MeMeMe Cosmetics.

MeMeMe have recently launched a number of quad and trio eye shadows for us to create the ultimate party looks aided by an easy step by step guide.....

For this look I will be using the fire quad and the eye sweep precision eye definer (liquid liner)

Left to right: Orange, Hot Pink, Rustic Red and Gold. I think the colours are really pretty and although they are subtle they have just the right amount of pigmentation to make a statement.

Oh and ladies if your like me and you only appreciate a true black liner I suggest you give this one a try, its so black!!!

Sadly as I'm not at home I'm without my make up brushes, but I'm not one to let something so minor stand in my way. Armed with my fingers, a cotton bud and my 4 step instructions I went to work.

Ant the finished look.....


Considering I used my fingers I was surprised at how lovely it looked, I cant wait to do it with a brush. The instructions are so simple there is no way you could go wrong.

No I'm not being self absorbed, I'm talking about MeMeMe Cosmetics. They have revamped their whole brand and introduced a rainbow of new nail polish shades to their collection.

Four of the shades from left to right:80 Impulsive -a bright yellow mustard (not for the faint hearted) , 83 proud- Khaki green, 58 Indulgent- a light grey and 79 Patient- a red wine
I must admit I am a fan of these shades (not so much the bright yellow)with the grey being my fave. The polish is the right consistency to achieve an even finish after 2 coats.

They are marketed as quick dry high gloss, I would definitely agree with the quick dry part but the 'gloss' is borderline matte (nothing a top coat cant fix)

Also, as most of you probably know I don't do messy when it comes to nails lol, and the pictures above actually make me shudder. The reason being.......the brush inside these polishes is too wide and way too square. This means you cant get the perfect shape when you push the polish towards your cuticle, and you have to start angling the brush which is just a pain *sigh*

Aside from that its all good
