When Barry M's latest news letter made an appearance in my mailbox, this is one of the things on it I standardly had to have.

With my passion for peaches slowly spiraling out of control, Peach Melba just had to be the newest addition to my collection. So blatantly duping Illamasqua's Purity but at a fraction of the price, this colour is a must have.

Next time you've got some spare change in your pocket, head down to you local drug store....

And ohh ohhh my lovely mate set up a fashion blog today. Seriously she is fashion, if you dont follow, your insane! you can check her first post out HERE and follow her antics on twitter HERE . Tell her I sent ya lol.x

Just a quick post for you ladies featuring Barry M Raspberry. I forgot I had this baby tucked away *slaps wrist*

I decided to have a little play around with my nail art pen on one of my nails, and came up with this cute checker board effect....

How I achieved the look...

I first painted my nails with the Barry M polish

I then painted 4 black lines down and 6 across (you can also use black liquid liner if you haven't got a nail art pen)

Finally I filled in each square alternately in black

Simples.......

I think I'm loving nail art on one finger at the moment, whats your favourite pattern?

Hey chiccas, today I thought I would do a quick post on a polish that will give your nails the perfect multi tonal effect.

This is models own pearly queen

You may be able to see its pearly green and purple tones from the picture above. If you cant, when it is coupled with another colour, you definitely can.

I decided to pair it with dusky mauve, just because that was what was on my nails at the time.

One coat,and your done

The finished look, multitonal metalic nails. No matter which way you tilt your hand you see shots of purple, green and of course your chosen base colour.

To me,these are very galaxy esq....

What do you think? Do any of you favour a bit of multi tonal action on your nails?

I've been on the hunt for a leave in conditioner for some time now.Last week a stumbled upon this one.

Aussie miracle hair insurance. Its got all type of oils in it to help protect your hair, and the smell is rather amazing,if I do say so myself.

Although it says to use this on towel dry hair,I personally like spritz my dry hair every night before I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning,im left with locks even disney would be proud of. Soft, shiney and smelling devine.

And for those days I cant be bothered to deal with my hair,I just spray some of this in.

Today I picked up the much talked about Barry M dusky mauve.I walked into my local superdrug, anf there was one left.Clearly it was meant to be.

Im really feeling this colour, especially the shot of purple you can see when you tilt your hand.

(Do exuse the cuticle oil lol)
I know my nail colour changes as frequently as the wind changes direction,I cant help it. I love nail polish and always will. Its one of my less expensive beauty addictions.

Both products are available a boots or superdrug
Barry m - £2.50
Aussie - under £4

Are any of you a lover of Aussie or Dusky mauve?

You really need to visit a Barry M stand to see the true colour of this polish. Its one of the hardest colours I have ever tried to photograph. No matter what, it just kept photographing really blue, but I think I just about captured it.

This colour is deep purpley blue, and in the daylight it looks amazing.

2 coats and I was done,I must say,I actually love this colour.

What do you think?

Today I went out with a list of things to buy, this being one of them

Barry M nail effects.I remember seeing something like this on the shopping channel years ago,for a rather ridiculous price. But at £3.95 you cant really go wrong.

My base colour is Models own grace green.

Barry M have definitely exceeded themselves with this little pot of genius.

You literally paint on one coat, then sit back and watch it,as it instantly transforms your nails.Oh,and it dries in seconds.

I wasnt planning on doing a post about this today, but when I took it out to have a play,I just couldnt resist.

Barry M is currently 2 for £5 in boots

Bare that in mind for when you see my next post. You will rush to boots after you see it.My friend noticed a new shade that is rather amazing.Of course I picked it up,it would have been rude not too.But im keeping it a secret until Friday ;-)

What do you guys think to the nail effects?

I will have a play around,to see what other effects I can come up with.

I finally got my hands on it

Even though I freshly painted my nails yesterday,I had to replace it with this.

Some of you may just see a boring brown.I personally love it because iv ALWAYS wanted a colour like this minus the hefty price tag! At £2.50 you cant actually go wrong.

Barry M youve done it again!

Are any of you loving this colour,or any others by Barry M at the moment?

So yesterday I was lucky enough to attend the Armani event (post to come) I met Lina there(make up to make out) and she was wearing a rather nice lipstick.Usually I hate pinks and steer well clear, but I was automatically drawn to this colour.I asked her what it was and she told me it was girl about town by mac. Then she told me there was a dupe.Enter Barry M punky pink....

At £4.25 of course I bought the dupe. Its exactly the same there is no difference between the two apart from the name.

The only Barry M lipstick I own is the famous 101,But I found it was very chalky and drying. This on the other hand is the total opposite. Its creamy and moisturising and the finish is more on the kissable lips side.In other words its not matt.

So like I said I usually steer well clear of colours like this. But Lina said I could pull it off if I get a tan LOOOL!!! well I havnt quite got a tan yet,but I think im pulling it off in a (I hope I dont look like a fool) way.
Insert rank picture of me......

What do you think, yes,no maybe so ?

A while back I purchased this Barry M gloss. Please dont ask me why.I think it was because it smells like something tropical.

Since the day I bought It,I had only swatched it once, and put it on to see what it would look like.I thought it would give a faint wash of colour to the lips.I was so so wrong,as this gloss actually makes your lips look full blown orange, which frankly isn't really my thing.

Today I was bored and couldn't decide on what to post about,so I had a rummage through my lip draw. Originally this was going to be a "what can I do with this gloss" post, but I have found an answer whoopi.

As well as finding this in my draw,I also came across natural collections apple blossom. This lipstick is boots own range and im pretty sure it didnt cost me more that £2.

I could never carry of this colour,as it just seemed to look a bit to pink on my lips,so you guessed it,I decided to mix until my little heart was content.
A few seconds later and Waaa La......

A lovely peachy nude,It looks lovely on the lips,I will swatch it another time as at current my lips have recently been invaded by the dreaded dry patch : (

But I think you will all agree, its a lovely colour.I think I might melt the lipstick down and blend them together to make a solid gloss.

Im actually quite glad I didn't get rid of the gloss now

What do you think of my new creation?

Clearing out my make up area I discovered some blushes that had been well and truley neglected,If not used at all.

First up is this blush I got a while back from superdrug. Its from the number 17 range and the shade is Brickie.

To me this blush is a really deep bronze pink.In reality at first glance it looks like a bronzer.I only used this about three times. It is a really nice colour though.I think it needs to come back out, otherwise its just a waste of product and money.I clearly bought it for a reason and that reason wasnt just to gather dust.

Next, Barry M blush In Apricot.I bought this because I saw it on Hele Says(here). When it is used lightly it gives you a pretty peach flush to the cheeks.I have never gotten round to using this at all.Its been sitting in my room for the best part of 6months probably longer, which is quite disgusting.....

I will definitely have to use this after refreshing the image of peachy cheeks in my head.It might look scary but with a light hand its quite the opposite, although the above swatch was quite a heavy one lol.

Lastly my Gosh Rose Water blush. This blush is really pretty and even though its a powder, its so soft it almost feels creamy.

When I was using this,it gave my cheeks the perfect flush of colour.Im not too sure why I neglected this one.

From now on I vow to start using the things I buy, rather than just pick them up because they are pretty.

Have any of you got any products that need to be brought back to life???

The other day I picked up revlon minted in superdrug(2 for £8 at the mo ladies) as I had been tweeting about it and wondering if it was more flattering than the Barry M Mint. Now I bought Barry M mint the day it came out along with the other colours, and since that day it has only touched my nails once.Something about the green wasnt flattering against my skin tone at all.

So like I said I picked up minted, and all I can say is that its love

This shade is much more flattering in my opinion. Its such a nice milky pastel mint.I applied it on Saturday, and I haven't been greeted by Mr chip yet, which is good for me with all the household work my hands do.Two coats and I was ready to go,and I also found that it dried rather quick too.

I also picked up tropical temptation after lusting after it for so long, but thats a whole new story.I just know that colour is going to be love also.

Back to the subject in hand,I am definitely a Minted girl........

Are you Mint or Minted?

So I havent really been my usual blogging self for the past couple days,Partly because I have had a little mind block. Its still going but so not to drop behind on my posts,I thought I would share with you a few lip products that I have been loving at the moment. These are all the lip products ive been loving and using lately.

First up,trusty carmex.I use this every day with out fail.I pop it on my lips before I go to bed,and I pop it on whilst im doing my make up so that by the time I get to my lips they are lovely and soft. Its also a great base.I find it keeps my lipstick and gloss in place for longer.

Next up is my new love and another fave.Mac florabundance and Barry M lipgloss in toffee.I love both of these glosses and ever since florabundance dropped through the letter box I have been using it ever since.

Another fave of mine is Rimmel Nude delight. You can tell its a favourite by how worn down it is.Its such a nice peachy nude.It nice alone or teamed up with a gloss.

Im also loving the e.l.f mineral lipgloss in Fierce. Its a really nice coral colour.Even when the gloss fades it still leaves lips with a hint of colour.

Im loving everything coral, nude and peachy at the moment. What colours are you loving?

First im going to say Happy Birthday to meeee,Yay another year older and I can already feel the wisdom lol.

Anyway, whilst cleaning the other day I came across something I completely forgot I had.The Barry M natural dazzle compact

For those not in the know,Its a matt bronzer with a reddish undertone.I used to love this, but clearly it got over shadowed by newbies in my collection.

I have started to use this again, and Its brilliant for contouring

The picture below is heavily swatched,so you get an idea of the red undertone I was talking about.Dont worry It doesn't look like that on the skin.

Its easy to blend and gives me a natural colour that doesn't look cakey or like I have rubbed my face in dirt.I cant believe I forgot about my little dazzle compact.Since Saturday my cheek bones have looked amazing.I really have to go through the rest of my make up to make sure haven't forgot about any other once loved items.

Have any of you rediscovered anything shoved at the back of your make up draw?Let me know
